keep it up and have some fun, if it lasts it lasts, if it's wrong it won't; end of.
It's all part of growing up, I did it and so did thousands of others, I've got some fantastic dirty memories of mine party

I don't know. I just know it can't last forever, I'm totally aware of the situation when we're out and peoples impressions etc. It's just, will I upset her,

My brain is just going a million miles an hour and I have told noone. I just needed to vent so at least thanks for that.
She's gone from having a friend with benefits who won't take it further to turning you into one and using you the same way. Has she spoken of moving in with you? Already can guess the answer is no. I don't really think you will upset her. I'm 44 (nearly laugh) and have dated guys 9 years younger max, even then I knew it would never be long term. I can't think for one second that she sees you as grow old material.

Sorry

"Wasting time"?
What's the f* ing rush? He's 23 FFS.
Wasting time when he could be doing what? Changing nappies with a 21 year old mother? Well, there's a great life choice. He really wants to rush into that.
He's 23, he's having a good time. When that stops, move on. Until then he's a 23 year old man having a good time with a woman of his choosing.

I think there are more than a few people here who are getting a bit jealous.

Go with it. What's the worst that can happen.

That you might get along famously and be very happy together?

If the genders were reversed, all on here would be egging you on to bang it into the middle of next week.
OP what have you got to lose if you listen to the above?

Keep an open mind
I like you.

I'm late to this but it is possible that you have been seduced (or groomed).

Attention can be flattering. Test it as a life experience and solely as a bit of fun. Have an idea to end it though. So you call the shots.

OP you worry too much! Just carry on, it'll fizzle out in the end then you will find some girls closer to your age and she will just become part of your history.
I'm quite intrigued though, there aren't many hot 49 yr old gilfs around.. I know Liz Hurley blah blah but she is definitely the exception, most women of that era are a bit knackered

Grooming? He's an adult. Seduced, maybe...

The old joke

Young man was in a club and rather drunk when a much older woman, probably well into her 50's started coming on to him. He was just thinking of a way to get rid of her when she whispered "Have you ever had a mother/daughter threesome?" This perked him no end when she suggested they go back to her house to indulge. She opened her door and shouted.............."Are you still awake Mum ???"

In all seriousness she must realise it won't have longevity either.

By all means carry on the fun for the time being, but don't even think of having a future together. Mine is 17 years older than me and that's pushing it, never mind another 9 years beyond that.

When you hit 34, she'll be 60. I doubt there are many guys in their 30s that find 60 year old women in any way attractive. Think on.....

yes

The majority of mums at our son's school are at the 'ready to be sent to the glue factory' stage hehe

However just enjoy yourself OP while it lasts smile if it fizzles out, don't worry as there are plenty of desperate older women/GILFs out there.

No photos but she's fit, small, size 8, 32DD...

I need to lose some of my feelings and just enjoy it by the sounds of it. Maybe a few days here and there of not messaging, get back into what I was doing 7/8 months ago and just see her when it suits us both. We would meet up at like 9pm as that's the only time we were free, go for walks, meet in quiet places etc. It really was mental.
You mention quiet place. Are you ashamed of the relationship you have? Have you been seen in public? How did you feel? Proud, happy or embarrassed? If the answer is the latter then you really need to move on as emotionally you are not ready and see her mainly as a friend that has gone too far.

A lot of love extends from a simple friendship. It did from my previous marriage who by the way was older than me and it lasted 25 years until her death early last year and my current partner.

When I was 26 I dated a 46 year old for 9 months. I was living/working in Reading, she lived/worked in London. Very much a weekend thing. A lot of fun, she had money, her own place, knew what she wanted, was filthy etc.

Being much younger, I most definitely kept her at arm's length, and eventually she grew frustrated enough to tell me it was over. She was older than my step-mother too - weird!
