As per High Fidelity I can't even do a top ten, maybe a top ten sci-fi 1990-2000 is doable. If I had to, like HAD TOO, it would be a tie between We were soldiers and Gladiator

Bullitt.

I don't care that he overtakes the same VW 10 times in the chase and the Charger loses about 6 hub caps.

Where Eagles Dare.

I've loved it since I was about 7. I couldn't care less about the helicopter or any of the other things that don't add up - it's just ace.

(Or Airplane).

Tough one, it's between T2 Judgement Day or Back to the Future, if I had to choose I think it would have to be Back to the Future, but it's a close one.

The Devil and Daniel Webster (sometimes known as All That Money Can Buy), spectacularly unsuccessful and utterly brilliant 1941 retelling of the Faust legend set in 19th century America.

Best screen depiction of the Devil ever:

And a script to die for from start to end. I could watch it back to back all day. If you ever see it come on you'll probably wonder what I'm on about, as it takes about fifteen minutes to get going, but it's riveting after that.
