PH Secret Santa 2016 - The Return of the Santa
Discussion
I had a note explaining the gifts as a literal interpretation of a post I'd made. I'm not sure on the actual post but I can say that this was spot on.
I guess I must have posted up about my semi secret love of Wham! at some point. My close friends know about this and apparently PHers too. It's the record, framed, with lyrics. Love it.
The 80s Matchbox-well that looks obvious from my PH name but again, I guess at some point I mentioned about losing the exact car (amd colour!!) when I was a kid. It was 1980 that I last saw such a car..until this morning.(it's a bit dusty in here, honest)
My PH name is actually more to do with my love of the Eighties Matchbox B-line Disaster, a band that I've seen more than any other. Listen to them, they're a bit different to Wham..
From the note that arrived with my presents, it would appear that it was absolute chance that the car arrived in the same colour...presumedly they made other colours.
I'm not sure on the Stripes reference, but I'll do a bit of digging to check.
Thank you Secret Santa, you've made my day and did make me laugh.

Merry Christmas all!
I've got some reading to do.
I will have many more diy threads to come over the years, and look forward to having a good read up on automation.
Ive just been reading about "Confravision" in the Tomorrow's world book. Rather funny having just finished a Skype call to my parents!!
To my Secret Santa, and all of PH, I wish you all a very merry Christmas.

The Moose said:
Dr interceptor: Your gifts were delivered to your mother on Friday, who said you were in America until January
She has confirmed receipt to me! Yes, am unfortunately away, touring the Deep South. We are having Christmas on Friday 13th on my return, if they're non perishables I shall open and update then
Thanks Santa x
Cracking gifts from my SS. I've got a few tape measures but they're all either my dad or granddad's old ones which are worn and knackered, something I never think to replace when I'm in B&Q so well chuffed with this.
The bike tool is ace too, will save me taking out loose Allen keys and stuff in future!
A cracking Xmas elf jumper too, picture to follow of that.

1st present opened. No time for photos, it's gone straight under mrs 2gins' side of the mattress

Cheers Santa, much appreciated. You couldn't have known this on posting but having had an unfortunate development on the house front last week I've decided that 2017 is the year to do it even if it means renting a garage. TVRCC membership dropped through the letterbox yesterday!
Happy Christmas!

Thanks SS! I know I'm probably a bit hard to stalk, as I don't post a huge amount in here. You've done well though!
Haven't heard of the Vodka before, having done a bit of reading, it's higher quality stuff than I'm used to
I love the nutcracker tin, right up my street. The ginger snaps will go down well too
Have you been taking to people I know, I never have cash on me, so the keyring is ideal!
The coffee looks delish, I'm sure my guests will appreciate it!
Thanks again to the Moose for organising!

Apologies for the delay in posting my pics!
So, this had arrived for me the previous week. Eyebrows awere raised this end as well as at the post office end, Santa!
Inside were 2 very nicely wrapped presents:
Which when opened on Christmas day, bore 2 educational science gifts:
Thanks Santa! They are interesting even if a touch below my age range
However, they will actually prove to be useful - my university holds regular science open days for schoolkids, which one can volunteer for and organise demos and activities. They will be brilliant for this!
