Is it me or have comparatively few of us posted this year? I remember last year a flurry of about 10 pages in few hours on Christmas day!

Sorry I'm late to post, just landed back tonight from our Lanzarote family holiday.

Just opened mine and all they are ace!

Of all of the Caterham related stuff I have I've never had 7 cuff links!

They are both ace thanks so much !

Thank you Secret Santa, will try and build a dragster out of the metal kit,

and always wanted to know what an exploded kitten looks like...

combined with lekker waffels and the music selection it is something for all senses including humour.

Sorry, bit delayed posting this year.

This was inside the outer wrapping, interesting start.

Inside was this interesting selection.

So, left to right an Orange puffer fish light, a small cuddly japanese style cat, some sushi socks, booze (JD punch and the legendary Pistonheads beer), a bath disco light and a weird mouth thing.

Not sure if this is the results of my posting history (in which case I'm disturbed) or my SS's mind. In which case......

Thanks anyway.

P.S. The drawing is by my boy, not from Santa.

A very big thank you to my secret Santa! I really liked the letter most of all, was very heartfelt and well written. Not sure if I need to put much more about myself online, or less. You were either completely right or not far away in all that you found out about me!
You did an awesome job, thank you so much! I'll get a picture of the completed car up at some point when I have found some glue and paint (it will still be finished long before the real one)
There have been some very nice gifts this year, I think everyone has done a great job. Can't wait for next year now!
Eta: completely forgot about the 'other' gift hehe what a troll!

Just realised that my lovely SS put a couple of batteries in my car kit so I didn't have to source them myself - it's the little things like this that make me smile smile

MESSAGES OF THE DAY

My SS: Sorry that you haven't seen a post with the photos yet - the presents really were absolutely fantastic and so generous. I've been all over the place in getting ready for a move across the pond in a few short days but promise to get the photos online shortly.

2gins: Glad you liked the presents. The sloe gin can be drunk neat or with tonic. Given your love of G&T I thought you'd probably have come across sloe gin before. Sorry it's such a small bottle but it took quite a bit of negotiation to buy from the producer. They've been selling 75cl bottles of the stuff for more than £100 at auction and it's really good stuff.

So - my pressies and photos!

I started opening the outer box to be faced with approximately 1 metric tonne of glitter (I hate glitter hehe).

So, I had to relocate to the bathroom so I could dump it all down the plug hole.

So, my gifts & card:

Absolutely fantastic presents - thank you so much! Mrs Moose was most impressed with her present also!

glad its not only me tbh lol

By the way whoever was my SS, I opened the model properly tonight to start it and found a need to do it right.
So tomorrow with the wife (who is writing down all the codes for the paint etc) I goto a model shop.
Working on a full week maybe 2 to complete the model but since its the 1st model I will have ever made since a old airfix one in 1986 I dont plan on doing a rush job.

Wife is well impressed with the kit and has placed herself as the offical part finder and instuction reader.

Deffo will have to post pics of the progress when we start smile

MESSAGES OF THE DAY

Kaelic: Evening, glad you liked your stuff smile My only regret is that I couldn't get you an original Airfix fort playset with the firing missiles, but the only ones I could find were either trashed or minters at "collector" prices! Please do post up a picture of the completed fort under attack hehe I've got to know the author of the book quite recently, he's a fascinating and very friendly chap so it was a pleasure to get him to dedicate a copy! From my stalking I surmised you were quite into the open days at Dunsfold/Brunters - you should come to Newark next summer for the cockpit festival, we'll be there with a Phantom
