Snap. Waiting for the sales to buy something we each want for the new gaff. Possibly a Sonos type thing for me.What I have done since yr 1 is always purchase an annual Christmas decoration from G Jensen. Nice tradition she loves (especially when I found one from the year we first met). On top of other prezzies of course.
Best bit is that they pretty much hold their value, or even gain, so in the inevitable split you can turn a small profit!

For some inexplicable reason I really like these old CB350s and hardly any have survived.

This. Apparently she wants a solitaire diamond necklace, easy enough given a few PH folks in the trade and a contact I have in Hatton Garden thought I. Oh no, easy it is not. I have found a few diamonds in the right grades that would be about £1,000-1,200 to have mounted nicely on an 18" white gold chain. I send her a few links to look at to ensure all is well and get back responses about items she has seen in jewellers on her travels. I try to explain difference in overall quality between your usual run of the mill high street jeweller compared to what I can get direct from a jeweller in Hatton Garden. Not going in. So she will be happy to spend the same money on the high street for an inferior, smaller and generally less worthy product than can be sourced by me.My new hobby is clay pigeon shooting..............first two cartridges can go straight up her ar$e
Wouldn't mind help with this. So far . . .
- Some charcoal (she's doing art classes);
- Nice photo of me and the boy (six year old) . . . (hope that's not too egocentric!)
. . . and that's it. Was going to get a short break abroad, but first weekend that looks free-ish and has a school inset attached is 1/2/3 July . . and we normally go camping with a big group then. (BTW on Last Minute.com flights and two nights in Venice was coming out at £140 each!).
So, possibly one Saturday night away in March? South or South West England, decent food?
