I've just bought mine a pair of Asics GT-1000 Mk5 trainers.

It's what she wanted.

I had the great idea of a Dyson hairdryer, well Dyson UK had sold out.I went to France and Belgium today to hunt down said item with no luck, I allowed 6hrs hunting time, my 9yr old lad even gave up on having steak for his lunch to add extra time to look around shops,it's this year's bloody buzzlight year/Tracy island.

Fuchsia/Iron colour is in stock on dyson.co.uk at the moment if you want one, but I would get a wriggle on as there are very few in at the moment.

White is in stock at Oxford Street store but, again, limited numbers.

Birthday present. Go to the fallback of jewellery for Xmas.

I bet they've got stloads in a warehouse somewhere just ready for the January "sales" they'll be 5% off or something.

Got mine a trip to Thailand in January for her birthday that was in October so we said we're not doing Christmas gifts, will do things in Thailand instead..

But I did cheat and managed to get her one of these which seemed to be sold out everywhere - she loves whisky and loves Star Wars.. I think this is gonna win me some points, Stormtrooper whiskey decanter, collecting tomorrow.

I'm taking her to Edinburgh on Xmas eve to let her choose her gifts (within reason).

A Twilight evening for 2 at the Bath spa and an omelette maker she wanted. Obviously a frying pan is to much work plus a few other bits of tat I threw in the basket.

I've just put a deposit on a Z4 Coupe 3.0 Si Sport...

She'll get to site in the passenger seat. Does that count?

Rab Down jacket for mine - her old one has been losing feathers for a while now. But we're a bit stingy in this house, so fretting about the £160 it costs. Ouch.

A few bits, can't remember some of it so it will be as much of a surprise for me when she opens them. Bloody Alzheimer's.

Things I can remember, a rather nice marquise diamond ring by a hollywood designer, a dress I knew she wanted, some Pandora stuff, skirts, perfume, wines that she likes, long weekend in Rome and two weeks in Cuba (that is kind of for both of us but it is where she wants to go), and I can't remember what else, but no chocolate as she is in the gym 4 times a week frown

I remembered a few minutes ago that I have forgotten to check out the local zen shop, so that is first thing tomorrow morning.

Also while I was looking at getaways, picked up a weekend in London on Sunborn for her birthday but that will have to wait a few months. Nice cabin, all "happy birthdayed" up to the hilt by the proprietors smile . Just need to find some shows / gigs for that weekend and probably have a run at the savoy grill one of the nights if we can get a matinee or early show.

My bank manager hates me.
