Nick Blackwell (boxer), after Eubank jr pulverised him into a coma and he had life saving brain surgery and told never to box again. What as the dhead gone and done. Gone back sparring (without a licence as the BBBofC revoked it after his brain surgery) and ended up needing more brain surgery.

Darwin at its finest.

If this is going to be the official 2017 thread, I'll get my annual Shane MacGowan nomination in again.
Shane McGowan is immortal. My money's on Doddy. Or his dad's dog.

I presume those nominating Norman Wisdom are being sarcastic? He died six years ago...

Over 75, I suspect.
He was 76 this year - and is in fine form.

He was a guest on Michael Ball's radio programme last weekend and was pretty chipper and positive looking. He's just completed a new rock and roll album.

He looked fine when I saw his show last week.

Ok you could tell he was ill but other than that he was his old self.

As usual I'm going with Clint Eastwood smile

I pick him every year and as I never win anything he is guaranteed another year of health.

Hate to say it but I think it will be The Queen.

I am certainly no royalist but the prospect of the next crowning head does leave me a bit worried.
