Bought this about ten years ago at a charity auction after a few beers for my son's bedroom. Wife pointed out it would totally freak him out, its made of old car parts, weighs a ton and would kill him if fell on him. It's now part of the family and sits between the kitchen and family room.

A header tank for an Impreza, I wanted to split it to see if I could fix a leak it has - haven't got round to it yet, so it's become a paperweight biggrin

A few prints, Laon 2011, a Citroen Traction Avant owners club print from the late '80s and a Facel II brochure picture. Love all of them, so does my wife. smile

Not parts as such but car related...

There's nothing council about my Le Mans prototype gearbox selector shaft paperweight.
Lovely bit of engineering.

Wastegate 1-bar spring from a 911 Turbo 2, outside in the hall is a turbine wheel from a Turbo 4 in a natty presentation mount from the launch event at local dealer (Dick Loves It).

I have number 5 piston and con rod from Ayrton Senna's troubled Ford engine from Portugal 1993 he was out qualified by his team mate the rookie Mika Hakkinen and insisted his engine was changed for the race, the replacement engine failed in the race!
It was given to me direct from Cosworth in Northampton by someone I was doing business with who knew my passion for all things F1 related. I just wish I had kept his emails as providence.

Where did you get those? (the LMP1 tables, not the Mk2 golf shelf)
