If I knew how to post pics I would oblige, but two of them are fluffy and the third is an old banger.

I think Perkins purchase by Caterpillar prompted JCB to start making their own engines.

Not a good idea to be buying your engines from a major competitor!

Paul
Quite probably. But Sir Bamford had spoken about it along time before that happened

Perkins do still have some engine sales to Caterpillar competitors, which is a bit odd.

I did have a lexus "clock spring" this morning but I fitted it a couple of hours ago. I have a series land rover 3rd gear cluster with a few teeth missing on my desk in the office.

At present I have a frankly ridiculous amount of car parts in the living room/kitchen.

There are a set of Image spit rims which I'm breaking down to change the lips, a set of Stil Auto alloys which I am refurbishing to sell, a 12 inch sub box an amp rack (free to collector lol) , a battery currently being charged , a set of Corrado headlights, a VW Flywheel ( which I must remember to drop off at the machine shop.)

Then in the hall way by the back door there is a shelving unit filled top to bottom with car parts and cleaning products.

It's not goodwhistle

I think it would be interesting to know how many of those that state they have car parts in the house are married or living with their partner?

Come on. If you have listed a few car parts in the house - are you single???

I have a full set of lights for a V8 Vantage.

Spare red rears from when I 'upgraded' to clear rears - and a spare set of fronts that are partially functional from when my side light LEDs went.

A Hewland dogbox gear as a paperweight, and a Fiesta WRC gear mounted on a piece of granite as a trophy.

Oh, and an old Morris badge sitting in my book case.
