it would be interesting to know just how many prostitutes there are in the UK. Ive never knowingly known/met one but I presume there must be bloody thousands and by default I must have known one, perhaps someone from school/uni is now into it.

Yes, but I'd imagine the "standing next to him looking pretty" to sex ratio is about 10 to 1. They are also people who cannot maintain a suitable conversation. They are insufficiently educated both academically and culturally.
