Homeopathy.
Very much this. Really makes me angry that this utter codst is available for sale anywhere - let along a motherfking chemist FFS.
The homeopathy society booked The Cure to play their Xmas party. But The Cure couldn't make it, so Placebo turned up instead. Fortunately no one spotted the difference.
Should've booked Prevention.

bus lanes. let's increase pollution and congestion so a handful of oap's can get to Tesco a few minutes quicker
Shouldn't that be "so that a bunch of OAPs aren't forced onto the road to drive along at 17mph in their Honda Jazz or Toyota Yaris Verso"
No one can go as fast as 17mph thanks to the bus lane

Beds that have toe-stubbable corners.
Why not move the casters/legs( depending on how posh you are) in a bit?
No prizes as to how I came up with this in my hotel room.

I like wasps. Not only do they eat the greenfly on my roses, they also provide entertainment by me watching others flap about doing the Wasp Dance.

Whole Chicken in a can.
Wow! Is that a real thing? Is it a chicken shaped can, or is it a big normal shaped can with gaps, or are the bones made flexible in some way so the chicken can be squeezed in tight ? I'd love to see this.
Enjoy

What the fk did I just watch! That's one of the most horrific things I've ever seen and far worse than many films that claim to be part of the horror genre. I can't stand any meat in a can but that's a new level.

you do know the support staff didn't write the software, and despite this fixing 90% of peoples issues on their machines and it being a bit of a joke, people still don't do it and moan about the software being slow / buggy / irritating etc.
I didn't really know that, but its the first thing any of us do, and it's normally after 3 or 4 cycles that we resort to calling out the spods to come and tell us that it's a network issue or a licence issue or some such technobabble.
See its your calling support staff spods and using the word technobabble, that makes me think you are in the group of people that are identified as having a PEBKAC issue.

IT Support is the most thankless job ever, it shouldnt need to exist, but it does due to the standard of intelligence/common sense of the end users.

Guantanamo Bay.

USA had been running a practical blockade against this country for 40 years, with Russian missiles based there and all sorts. Then it turns out they own a corner of the island which they use for a semi legal prison.

Never understood how that all came about and how it still is being used.

Plus those in power realised it was a useful way to control the masses ("Why are you the leader of our tribe?" "God said so, go and argue with him")

Great shout. Actually, is the 4-door the worst BMW have done on that score? Putting black plastic arches on all of them must be up there, but that one where they've done half a roof chop and the one that's on stilts are probably worse.

I can't be bothered to find the inverse thread, but what should exist is a 2-seat version of the fake Mini built to as close to the original proportions as possible. Lots of people can cope with one impractical car in the household and buy on looks/fashion, if they went all-in on that, but retained the hatch-back overall shape it would sell shed-loads.

Actually, one benefit of the newer bigger craper new Minis is that the first new Coopers are starting to age a lot better.
