^^^ Billy bargain!
I usually snap up stuff like that in the U.S when stores have one of their many holiday sales on.

Why are Adidas producing so many fashion trainers on the boost sole? - I love my Boosts, but they're my technical running shoes, they wouldn't stand up to daily use.

Is that a personalised code? - I've just signed up for Running Heroes, but could do with a voucher, as Air Max Essential 90s are on sale and I'm after a pair!

I saw an interesting argument on a similar question before, albeit it was structured around Nike's Free models working as fashion trainers. Someone suggested that, by making them work as a fashion statement, the company could sell more and drag prices down by producing substantially more pairs of trainers incorporating the technologies. After all, the Ultra Boost was designed as a running shoe, but has a surprising amount of hype around it as a fashion purpose too.

Plus, nobody else has anything like Boost so it would be no surprise that Adidas is making the most of it for now.

It does seem to be the case with Boost trainers that the heel ends up quite thick. I couldn't guarantee it but I imagine it's to get as much of the material as possible where your foot strikes the most. Not as necessary in a fashion shoe like the Iniki as in the dedicated running models but it ought to provide some cushioning.

The discount code is personal I think, but you can use these bonus codes on running heroes. Should get you 300 points

I have leant towards Adidas for the last few years and mainly the superstar...maybe 30 different incarnations right now. AF1's are great and that pair above look glorious. Question is where is the best place to find out where/when the next special pair will drop? Always on the hunt for special superstars though if you come across any please point me in the right direction.

Thanks

It looks thick on that photo, but in real life it's fine. I'm a bit of a boost fan at the minute, like the look and feel when you wear it. I'll grab a pic next to a pair of Ultraboost when I get chance

Sizing compared to NMD, Ultraboost, EQT 93/17... EQT has by far the most, they're super comfortable. Iniki and NMDs are pretty similar, and from a quick walk around the house feel the same, so not quite as comfy as Ultraboosts or 93/17s

They must have realised it was too good a discount, its just throwing errors now

'Please check that Promo Code xxxxx is still valid and was entered correctly. If you think you've received this message in error, check the Terms and Conditions for this promotion. [Code: 010B-00100001]'

Still works for me. Click the 3 dots on the top right and use activate bonus code.

Maybe its because I have running data

I uploaded some running data first - so I had 72 points in the bank before adding the bonus codes.

Does anyone know of a resource online that compares sizes. I am a 7.5 in Roshes but an 8 (next time I will go 8.5) in Huaraches. Looking for a site / blog or something that will recommend sizes based on what size you are in a certain shoe.

There are some amazing deals on Tiempo indoor football trainers, too, if you fancy a Nike alternative to the Samba.

You could get those for £35?! They're a strange silhouette; I can't explain what it is that makes them so appealing, but they are.
