Google isn't throwing up any info - where have you found out about these?
Gary Aspden's Instagram (@gary.aspden) has been the first source of information on almost all of the SPZL range. The 'Mallison' name is derived from Mark Allison, a prominent name among collectors and prominent charity advocate. Take a look at these two articles for more information:http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/news/health/adidas-ho...
http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/news/local-news/fundr...
http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/news/local-news/airdr...

They're all Daily Record articles but are different. Evidencing Arsenal's point earlier in the thread as well, that the Facebook communities are tight knit, the third article suggests other guys gave some of their collections to benefit Mark's auction.
Mark said of the one-off Stan Smiths that they "surpass a knighthood"... so a trainer named after him that anyone can buy should have blown him away.

Funnily enough I did a bit of digging on Twitter this morning about them and found some information. I didn't, however, find out the whole back story. It's a nice tribute.
24th March release apparently. Fingers crossed they aren't a Size exclusive.

They're fakin horrid! Urgghh, how can you possibly think of wearing them?
They're not, but you really deserve a bit back, after your incessant sniping on all the shoe/clothing threads.
They're an acquired taste, so I'd expected some slagging off anyway! They're not, but you really deserve a bit back, after your incessant sniping on all the shoe/clothing threads.
As for the shoe / clothing discussions. Seems some sensitive types got me banned...

Really? I wouldn't have banned you I don't think. As for the shoe / clothing discussions. Seems some sensitive types got me banned...
They are very polite threads, not like a lot of PH, and I quite like that. If you don't have anything nice to say and all that

I got some suede Addidas trainers the other day, Munich or something - is there a recommended product for putting on these as they feel like they'll be ruined if they get wet?
You can buy a can of spray that you apply twice to the shoe and it will protect them. Lots of people I know use Crep Protect which is a branded one at a tenner a can, but I used the Foot Locker own brand one which is £7 I think and it works just as well.Chebble said:

Spezial releases aren't Size exclusive so you should be fine mate. Oi Polloi, Consortium and END Clothing tend to stock the Special range. Other stores do too, obviously, but those are the first three I thought of. Funnily enough I did a bit of digging on Twitter this morning about them and found some information. Just going to leave this here...
Wondered what happened to Orville after Keith Harris passed away, shame. My youngest always goes on about "Yeezys" and how much can be made on them buying and selling, I just buy whatever is there and wear them for ages, keep them clean and only buy new ones when they are beyond help.
