I have a few pairs of trainers, only about 8 pairs so nothing too crazy.

But have a couple of off the wall pairs such as these green shaq attacks

And i saw these in Japan the other week and for some reason didnt buy them but managed to find some still in stock in UK.

Apparently there the Kill Bill trainers and are made by Onitsuka Tiger.

Both were quite hard to find, dont know though if this means they are rare and i shouldnt be wearing them or that not many people wanted them so they didnt make to many!

Those reeboks are mental, love them.

The Tigers are available at Office (or we're at least)

Office is where i got them from, they were showing low stock for most sizes. Kind of helps that i can wear a 7 or 8 so fairly small for a man which helps get bargains and in demand shoes!

With the Reeboks if you wear then with jeans they look fairly subdues as just see the base green and white, with shorts though its a different story indeed!

Oooh, where from? - one of my favourite pairs of technical running shoes over the last couple of years.

Picked up these yesterday, more a shoe/pump than a trainer. I'm a massive Oasis/Noel fan too so well chuffed with them as quite a hard pick up

I can't help but think these look like Superga's
They're based on the Brisbane boot (no I hadn't heard of it either), but Noel has a pair and they inspired this shoe. You kind easily see why
My mate is a huge adidas fan and has several pairs. Bought the brown ones a few weeks ago, and his bro in law works for adidas and managed to get the Noel ones for him as well. He is really happy as like you say they are very hard to get hold off.

Adding to my purchases today - Nike LunarCharge essentials in Triple Black as I am not a fan of the other colours but love the shilouette - cost me £60. These will be my new daily wears to replace my worn Stan Smiths.

Excuse the "gangsta" in the background.

Anyone up for some Roshe Twos? £45 at Office - "Midnight Navy Sail" colourway. Very casual look, quite understated.

Thanks. It's a bit of a gamble on sizes from that seller!

I'll keep looking around as I fancy a new pair - I'm running in a couple of different variants of the Boost range at the moment, but the now discontinued Questar are still my favourites.

Haha. He seems to be a reseller, however the shoes arrived today. Had a trial run. They are comfortable but pretty tight around the tongue when laced up. My Roshe Run was very comfortable but ultimately felt too light and unprotected like a giant sock.

I find Adidas are really variable in terms of fit. I have 2 kinds of boost which I alternate - one pair are more lightweight 'racer' shoes and the other are more of a general 'training' shoe. But the fits are completely different - one is a size 8 and one a size 9 - the 8s are actually a more generous fit!

(And Sambas have changed totally in the last 25 years - my early 90s Sambas in a size 8 are very generously sized, so I ordered a bargain basement pair of modern Sambas a couple of years ago - size 8 is too tight!)

However, neither fit as nicely as my old size 8 Questar Boosts.

Y-3 is still a thing; Cruise, END and the usual suspects will stock them.

I probably wouldn't buy from that seller on eBay, if it were me. Looking at their feedback, nobody has said their purchases were fake, but the prices and pictures don't feel right. There's not one picture of the stock they have, so if you were buying I'd be insistent on seeing the shoes (from a couple of angles), the box and its label, and probably the size tag on the inside as well. That's just a rudimentary list, there are probably more reliable methods of spotting fake 90s.

Even the listing name isn't what I would expect to see but I could be wrong here. I'm not much of a risk-taker when it comes to eBay, so with these feeling off to me, I'd walk away. Someone else might take the chance and be pleasantly surprised, though.

No doubt that the present-day Samba Super is a small fitting shoe, but I'm intrigued that it wasn't always the case. In my experience they're the most durable shoe I've ever owned: were the early 1990s ones even better!?

I'd keep an eye on some of the Adidas outlets if there are any handy. Next time I'm at the one in Northern Ireland I'll keep an eye out; it's usually filled with plenty of Boost models, but I can't guarantee the Questar's being among them.

Picked up some Air Max 97s today, and managed to get 4 pairs. 2 adult pairs for Lance and I, and 2 kids pairs for the Mrs to wear. A bit geeky but I absolutely love this trainer

The 97 is a fascinating looking thing. Even if it's not something I might wear, there's something alluring about the design that makes me respect it. I bet there were some looks when you left with four pairs of the same trainer! Sounds very convenient that the lady in your life gets away with the kids' sizes (and, by extension, the kids' prices).
