I have to agree with everything said before, people do not change that easily.

they may fool you into thinking they have changed, keep up the good act for a couple of months in order to not loose you but deep down they will be the same lazy person that irritates you.

I do not know for how long your relationship is going on now but never make the mistake of judging whether to keep going or not based on how much effort, feeling etc. you have put in in the past.

The only thing that has to count is whether you are pleased with how it is right now (obviously not) and whether there is potential to change for the better (highly unlikely)

I know it is easy to just say "dump her", but if you are irritated and do now see things getting better then you have to move on.

Otherwise this will come back to annoy you time and again.
