Is there a nice day spa near you where you could book her in for a massage or treatment - just to have a couple of hours to herself away from a crying baby would be bliss I imagine.
Given the age of the bairn, book a long weekend at a spa hotel. Also invite (and pay if necessary) for the best choice of parents/siblings/her best friends to provide you with a babysitter for two of the nights and at least a day out by yourselves.
