Utter nonsense. The financial advise is equally available to all, regardless of your decision on publicity.
From what I read they don't directly give advice, they open a bank account with the likes of Coutts who then offer financial advice.

If you did win big & didnt want the publicity, I wonder if you could say to Camelot that they tell everyone that "a syndicate of 20 office workers from Manchester" won, rather than "a bloke from London", so that the press and beggars spend their energies on looking for 20 happy Mancs, and not just 1 ecstatic Cockney ?
Or say a different country for the Euromillions?
You would still have to hide the Lambo though

If I wan the lottery, I wouldn't need the help of a financial or tax advisor, I'd need the help of a fking airplane broker.

Although if it was only £15m I'd probably have to make do with a used turboprop.
And you'd be broke very quick with such an unwise purchase off such a small (relative to purchase) win esp taking into account hangar, maintainance, insurance, fees, etc...

In answer to the OP's question, I'm pretty sure that You'd need more proof than just saying that it was a syndicate, as far as the tax man's concerned.
