Was walking the dog this morning on Tooting Bec Common - the Balham end, between Emmanuel Road and Bedford Hill for those who know it.

Dog disappears off into some bushes and goes ominously still/quiet. Because he has a bad habit of eating poo, I go in after him to check. What I find truly stuns me.

A well-groomed 40-something woman (good hair, nice watch, expensive jewellery) in her running kit, squatting down taking a dump. Dog eating said product whilst she squats there still straining.

Not a lot shocks me but I am officially Stunned of SW4.....

I poo too. Sometimes running makes me need to go, and sometimes I'm a long way from home. Perhaps I should put in a bag and hang it from a tree?

I imagine the related "mirror universe" thread over on Mumsnet will be a classic.

She is the revolting one? Your dog was eating it, and it'll be licking your face later! yuck

and, yes, running does that to you and public toilets are like hen's teeth. It's a rookie mistake not to go before you get your shoes on.

Thank god she had a nice watch,or that would have been truly upsetting.

If it's a choice between the bushes or following through..

I doubt she had any bog roll with her so your dog did her a huge favour by licking her starfish clean.
Was she fit?

It's your dog that likes to eat st. It's you who keeps a st eating animal in your home and she's the revolting one? wink

Just be thankful you don't live here in Hampstead as you'd have probably found your dog being fed something properly revolting. biggrin

Nothing beats a Saturday morning on the Heath with a hot sausage in your hands. biggrin

The hot dogs from the butchers on the high street are excellent. And the most frightening thing you'll see is Ricky Gervais running around with a vinegar strokes look on his face. But if you have a dog and it runs off into the bushes I would be inclined to just buy another dog. smile

Did you say anything to her while your dog was indulging its scat fetish?

Seems odd that she was happy to let your dog just get on with it!

Why do you think she is there?

a/ She likes pooping in hedges
b/ Has genuinely been caught short
c/ Something else.

The fact your dog is eating it.... might say more about your choice of dog food at home. biggrin
Buy a better brand.
