Thank goodness our local council are on the ball. We're relocating to a cave in the High Peak next week.

"The United Kingdom, including Derbyshire"

I've always been under the impression that Derbyshire was in the UK!

Yeah, but what happens when the batteries run out? Matches, coat them in wax to keep waterproof in case it floods.

We really are doomed.

Because it is real;

Or is it another elaborate hoax by Dave Gorman?

Or maybe just fake news...

The 'Nemesis star system' will pass close to Earth in a year or two??

Somehow, if a WHOLE other star system was to come near to Earth it would,

a) been noticed donkeys years ago.

b) caused noticeable effects years ago

c) we'd already be fked and probably dead/extinct already

d) Facebook/Twitter would have already gone into meltdown with inane posts

e) no Justgiving page has been set up.

f) Daily Mail not reporting house prices in the new star system.

g) council would do a bit more than stick a letter up on a lamppost.

Someone's messing aboot.

You would not believe how many people DO think that Nibiru, or Planet X as it is known, does exist and randomly appears alongside the sun in photographs. They have loads of evidence to prove it, and anybody who belittles their suggestion is a stupid heathen.

Here we seen the sun, Nibiru and two other unknown planets that appeared one afternoon...... laughlaughlaugh

That there's some basic disaster prep advice is fair enough - some bits of the dales are pretty remote, had spectacularly bad flooding a few years back and so on - but the half of the leaflet talking about a star system indicates that the leaflets were clearly printed and put up by the most incredible walt to have ever walted. She or he clearly has decided it is their duty to inform their neighbours of the threat. They're probably trying to hold meetings about it.

I think I've lost my touch. frown

Should I be worried? I'm only a few miles outside Derbyshire.
Should I get a bucket of sand on standby just in case the worst happens?
