I guess they didn't work out as I met them too early. We were all busy getting away from West Yorkshire, exploring the world and possible new lives. I for one left to study in Southampton so I too would have featured in some of their thoughts as alas that one went away/had to go?

The internet allows such feelings to germinate and be nurtured and...well, here we are.
Before any red pill neck veins start bulging, let me just say that I'm sure there are some men who are genuinely happier without women in their lives, but manage this without any negativity or ill will towards women (or whining about it on internet forums). But in my experience they would seem very much in the minority.
Unfortunately a whole industry has sprung up around this ostensibly benign position to promote the more outré ideas and their ends, with the motives of some of those doing the encouraging questionable to say the least. I watched, fascinated and abhorred, as the GG stshow lumbered along and it's no coincidence that there's a large overlap in the cohorts for both 'movements'. I don't use the word radicalisation lightly, but preying on people's vulnerabilities to promote an ideology is exactly what it is. The echo chamber of the internet just enables it in a way that would not have been possible 30 years ago.
There's no big secret to dating, or indeed any other kind of relationship; be respectful, treat people as individuals, try not to let prejudice cloud things and ignore/cut loose if things aren't mutually beneficial.
If you don't want a lady in your life, great. It's your decision though and not the fault of society. Regardless, treat everyone, men and women, equally and fairly.
