The one with the biggest anti-climax?

Not a thread, but a fellow PH'er in the Karate thread advised how he was once theoretically capable of decapitating an adversary without fully beheading.

I was kind of hoping that it would have been jumped on, but it seems to have been largely ignored.

I could do a search, or trawl my memory, but the one where the poster pretended to be very wealthy and have a lot of desirable cars, including a Maclaren F1, but it was all made up.

Was that not the birth of the custard thing? Where everyone called bullst but he was actually serious and posted a picture of the mad car with a tin of custard on it?

Yup, the "TVR Tuscan abandoned on my land" nonsense and all the others that went with it.

The Nazi Bunker thread delivered on many levels but ultimately it's biggest gift was disappointment.

The biggest letdowns however are the threads that the mods kill too soon when it becomes obvious the OP is a loon. The best recent example of which was the guy who kept a potential car purchasers deposit and wouldn't give him a lift to the train station. Comedy gold but, alas, never to be read again.

Some of these sound awesome! Any links, as PH's search facility is hardly cutting edge....

Any recent photo shop thread. There was a time when responses would be anything other than what the OP asked for.
