Hi all

Don't fancy doing this myself, so currently looking for any recommended garages in the Reading, Berks area to fit a helicoil.

I did find this mobile service. Anyone used them?

I know Perrin/Thread doctor through work (A Mercedes truck and van dealer). He seems to be the go to guy for a lot of local garages. He's also done a couple of jobs for me personally, so yup highly recommended!

Thanks Steve :-)

Would be simpler for me - with him being mobile as well.

Cheers,

I`ve used him a number of times, excellent work at reasonable prices. The last time was a stripped head bolt thread in the cylinder block on a Peugeot 504 coupe. He came to our lonely place in the middle of Oxfordshire and fitted a helicoil insitue,no need to remove the engine. That saved us hours of work and lots of cash.
