There’s a garden centre near me with a sign outside advertising bark.

Whenever I drive past it with the family we all shout “Woof”.

It's up there with Thomas wker, who was part of the production team on 'Buffy The Vampire Slayer'. Of course, Americans use the word 'Tosser', so having 'wker' as a surname probably isn't such a big deal for them. But who the hell calls their child 'Todger'??

I thought that the Yanks use 'Jerk' as in jerk off. But my eyesight isn't as good as it once was.

I drove past a garden centre near my house a while ago, and outside was a placard advertising a "Free Bag of Bark" with every £x.x spent. The placard was on two legs driven into the verge and a woman with a dog on a lead was standing next it while the dog peed on the sign supports. To have had a camera handy and the opportunity to photograph it would have been priceless.

There's a builders merchants locally that had signs outside advertising 'sand', 'stone', 'slate' and 'bark' and next to the 'bark' sign, someone had placed a sign that matched the 'bark' sign exactly in size, colour and font that said 'meow'....
