Where has that carlo996 guy gone?

Always chipping in on various threads, trying to be a bit edgy and looking for attention.

I miss his vacuosity.
Quite active and precisely how described. Obsessed with Lewis Hamilton too.

Odd. i'd argued with him a fair bit, but he'd never resorted to anything crass or extreme, he was much more reasoned. Much more civilised than many of the cesspit debaters.
I would agree.

Different political opinions in some areas but usually civil.
Yep agreed, He was definitely on the more extreme end of a political wing, but he would always explain his situation and admit that his politics weren't for everyone. He liked a bit of back and forth, some edginess but never really crossed the line. I can only think, if it wasn't mod over-reaction, that he had a moment of madness.

Agreed.

In NP&E (whether you agree/like him or not) Byker28i has been stalked by some tw4t to the extent they contacted his employer, too.

Sad and twisted individuals who I expect would rarely be like that in public/person.
I think it was worse than that, threats to family members iirc.

It strange how bad stalking people irl is, but I do recall many years ago the positive power of that when someone posted up a video of themselves on YT jumping through the roof of someone's Elise. The collective power of PH found out who it was and informed the owner and police (and probably their employer too).

Talking of stalkers. Is there a reason you follow me around like a lost puppy Jason?

It’s flattering, but a bit weird tbh.

I just remembered his name from the MV thread - I wasn’t concerned enough to check that closely biggrin
Neither was I, I just happened to be reading a thread he just posted in before i came on this one!

carlo - as the 'new boy' (subject to having been a previously returning poster) don't you find your edginess and constant calling other people out a little tiresome?

Are you 15 years old?

If not, then perhaps try and be a little more adult about who you take swipes at, how often and about what?

Possibly?

Completely agree with both you and CDG. I'd also be blocking their IP address so no returning straight away under a different handle.

I comment as I find. Far too many narcissistic bullies on the internet. That Jason chap has been following me around for ages, I think he’s lonely? As for some others, well, if you dare to go against the tide of opinion you’re going get grief. Apparently opinions are free, and welcomed as long as they agree with the masses. As for you, no idea who you are, I care even less tbh. You’re taking the moral stand of being reasonable on one hand, yet a swipe on the other. Perhaps you could think about that? If this thread isn’t the shining light of what social media is all about I.e various posters calling for others to be banned, and celebrating these ‘results’ I’m not sure what is?

someone said:
Now, in work, socially and in family circles, I will not accept or countenance it.

It's weak behaviour and needs stopping.
How does that fit as a contributing member of PH exactly?

I was careful to say "concrete proof" coz it's gonna be a very difficult thing to prove, unfortunately.

And as said, a VPN easily defeats an IP address blacklist.

Annoying, but there we are.

As a frequenter of the F1 pages on this forum one of the few posters names I recognise is carlo996. In my opinion he makes a lot of the threads utterly unreadable with his obvious trolling.

I'm sure he thinks of it as sport to be winding other people up and will blame others for not allowing "his different opinion" but he really spoils a lot of PH content unfortunately.

Not the only one in the F1 threads of course, we had a similar member called T16 or some such but it seems to be par for the course now F1 has gotten even more popular and attracted the more partisan crowd.

It's quite clear he just wants a reaction from people by calling them lonely, stalkers or toffs in the boat thread. Anything to wind people up and then say 'it's just opinion'. Whatever turns him on.
