Four hundred and thirty seven thousand and ninety three unique posts.

That's an average of ninety one posts per day, every day - not a single day missed - in thirteen years, four weeks and one day.

Things change. Under the old system, this would be a random day part way through Volume 44.

As it is, we are here, on the auspicious occasion of the commencement of Volume 40.

Trivialites of the World, I salute you.

Carry on.

And to those who didn't, at least you gave it a damn good try.
Matron will attend to you when Battert has collected you in the old Meatwagon after the celebrations. drunkdriving

Okay, so you're not one to gamble.
What do you expect us to do for you?

I'm betting that you want us to give up our ill-begotten habits?

Well, half a crown says you won't find any co-operation from the Residents here.
Especially from the Brigadier. He enjoys the odd flutter, it's the only thing that keeps him going really. Well, that and the brandy and port.

Where's my tea?

I found a pound in the driveway about half an hour ago.

Turns out I’ve arrived!
How,I’m not too sure! One minute I was settling in to the stirrups then bang! a twanging sound and I’m here.

Well done chaps.

I was wondering where you lot had got to. Drinking tisane with the Swiss douaniers was getting dull.

Well I've made it, not quite sure how, one minute I woke up in a field, then managed to do 88mph through a thunderstorm and then I'm here.

You found a pound in the driveway but missed a croquet lawn covered in irreparably damaged homemade gliders of every variety.

Money mad some people.

It's all about perspective.
A crashed glider is junk but a pound's a pound after all.

wavey

Today, i have mostly been watching a young guy repairing the bumper that Lady Slopes broke.

If anyone is up in the Preston area and needs car bodywork repaired, then i know just the guy.
