Sorry to hear that, pequod.
Fullers Earth aka cat litter. Are you sure someone’s not taking advantage and palming off their refuse on you?
The military also uses it to decontaminate their noddy suits. I’d enquire closely regarding the provenance as this sounds like one of Battert’s more questionable barters.
But, equally, my father used it for his roses.

You're saying roses now. Not orchids?
Triffic.
Battert's involvement does explain the ease with which he surrendered the croquet lawn to this endeavour.

He means the Indian Takeaway in Little Trivton.
You surely don’t mean that ghastly eatery next to the Ringburner and Roti (Wetherspoons) by the Corn Exchange that used to be the Black Hole of Calcutta? The one Environmental Heath shut down after the whole Rotary Club got the trots at their annual Ladies Night? The one Battert used to frequent for his Friday night strip poker game? psi310398 said:

I used fuller's earth on and off for about a year to temporarily rejuvenate the slipping clutch in my 1958 Consul.
Turns out that release bearings don't like it.
If you don't have a 58 Consul it's probably safe to ignore this.
I once had a 1961 Consul 375 ( Lowline model ).Turns out that release bearings don't like it.
If you don't have a 58 Consul it's probably safe to ignore this.
It had full width bench seats front and rear, and a column change and performed absolutely brilliantly when parked up in secluded spots.
But it was rather thirsty on the road.

New car tomorrow
I'm sadder about the other one going -not sure why I always feel this way
Why not keep the old one then? I'm sadder about the other one going -not sure why I always feel this way
It just makes financial sense really. However for some reason I've become quite attached to this car (despite it being non PH PC -and replacing it almost like-for-like)
Meh. I'll be very happy when I get it. It's just this last 24 hours. I get the same when I massively upgrade cars too

Did you know that velociraptors like leftover curry?
And did you know that there are no velociraptors left in Trivtonshire?
I'm not one to spread idle conspiracy theories, but it makes you think doesn't it.
Now you come to mention it, _404, I don't recall seeing any velociraptors anywhere in the local area for what seems to be yonks. And did you know that there are no velociraptors left in Trivtonshire?
I'm not one to spread idle conspiracy theories, but it makes you think doesn't it.
Putting 2 & 2 together, you may be onto something there...
Hmmm...
I'll give it some serious thought when I get a chance. But for now, I moff ter beddy-byes.
Nite nite Trivs!

Oh yes. Absolutely!
The upholstery was compliantly sprung and although it was only vinyl, a woollen blanket was sufficient to enhance the ambience of the interior.
Oh, I don’t know, glenners. A young lady might have improved matters even further…but just my view. The upholstery was compliantly sprung and although it was only vinyl, a woollen blanket was sufficient to enhance the ambience of the interior.
Morning all.
