Full sunshine in SW London. Taking our grandson to the zoo this afternoon. Earlier in the week I was concerned that we'd get drenched.

Looks like my concerns were not necessary.

Really sunny morning here for the second day in a row.

Dare I say that things might actually be getting better?! It’s still colder than I’d like, but I guess it is still fairly early in the year.

I wouldn't say that. The next few weeks is still going to be very unsettled it seems. Fairly typical April showers.

Good news is temps should be at or above average which is good.

Why are temps above average? Wet, warm air...

No end in sight to unsettled weather.

Is it too early to update this to: "The official winter rain, wind, snow and ice thread 2024/25"? As we're clearly skipping the summer thread this year. hehe

Perfect day down south! If this is it for summer I'll be most put out. I'm enjoying a lovely isotonic beverage* after a dry** cycle. cloud9

Lovely day. Got 2 loads of washing dried outside today. Managed bedding yesterday between showers which is the first I've managed this year so far. Bit sad being a 41 year old bloke but I do like line drying.

Took the dog down the local beach to. lovely walk to it. The tide was well out being the Bristol channel but the dog still loved it.

Gorgeous Sunday morning - best day of the year so far… and the next door has just got his petrol hedge trimmer out.

Selfish prick.
