Assuming he wasn't using it at 7am, that's hardly horrendous, or is it? confused

Yes mate, it is. He’s retired and could do it anytime, but chooses today when everyone is trying to enjoy the decent weather for a change.

It sounds like one of those times when a little consideration goes a long way.

Yes, it might not be actually illegal, but y’know, read the room.

A working day when it’s dry but not wonderful weather… too much to ask when he’s retired?

The thing is more like a chainsaw than hedge trimmers. I would never even think of doing that on a Sunday in glorious weather. Zero consideration for anyone but himself.

Anyway - back to the weather.

Windy and raining down in West Cornwall. Surprising.

Temperature crept up to 5C wind and rain.
Great start to April…
I’d say it’s progressively wetter and colder here (east Scotland), than it was a few years ago.

The endless rain is continuing here in South Wales. I think I'll be booking a weekend in the sun shortly. It's currently very difficult to plan any outdoor activities in the UK.

That's not true, you could probably put on a very extensive umbrella testing event.

Not seen this posted yet, GetCarter did you notice March being particularly dry up your way?

More than double the average for Hampshire, after the same in February. Sigh. It really gets me down, and the garden is an absolute disgrace, I haven't been out tidying it at all.

It looks like I should have moved to Scotland for March!

I'm in the East Anglian brown bit on the map.

The fields are still so sodden that we choose not to walk them with the dog.

Says it all... Wettest February since records began for the South.

I'm guessing this has something to do with it, Blib hehe
