Once again, litter, or the lack of pride in your surroundings. Just back from visiting step daughter outside Glasgow and you could really tell the difference between people who cared and those that don’t on the estate (and hence bringing it all down).

As ever, council is a state of mind.

On this theme - just popped into my local spoons (yeah yeah) for a quick cheapo pint and catch up on emails.

Just been down to the new burger wagon on our industrial estate (yes, I know, I know!!) and watched a wonderful interaction between the lady who runs the mobile sandwich van for the estate and a lorry, as they came head to head on the side of the road opposite said burger van.

It was absolutely the lorry's right of way but she was not backing down and got out, marched up to him and started screaming at him about how she wasn't reversing and how she'd stay there " all fackin' day" until he moved. The grey football top, black jogging bottoms. white socks and black slides just added to the scene. It was so perfectly council, it nearly brought a tear to my eye.

Oh and the burger was bloody superb. Just round the corner from Toolstation in Segensworth near Fareham if anyone's local...

Is the whole Kyle Walker love triangle saga a bit council? I appreciate that infidelity occurs in all walks of life, but the whole thing reeks of a Jeremy Kyle episode played out in the tabloids/social media with the two women "sending shots out" to each other.

Got to love the name choices of the kids as well, Roman and Rezon. Maybe they are naming them after ice cream flavours.

Oh, and as I was walking through town earlier, i saw a man eating a tube of primula, straight from the tube.

Platt Bridge. I used to drive through there on my daily commute. It gives Wigan something to look down on.

The worst ones and the ones that really should be put down are the ones that say: "Someone's paid to clean that up".

Will be the same folk who get excitable when they arrive and there is now where clean to sit, because the underpaid over worked staff are running around like mad men

It's this lot that make you realise how hopeless anti-ghettoification methods are. Spreading them out among normal people doesn't result in them learning how to behave, it just makes normal people's lives a misery too.

Large estates, completely self contained, walled/fenced off escape from New York style and let them live the way they want. Have an escape system with half way estates that people can move in to and prove themselves normal members of society before being moved on to gen pop. Let the rest rot.

Or socialist friendly version. Let's build lots of new social housing and create some new towns of the future.

I loved opposite a couple many years ago, that used to constantly argue and in a very load and sweary way. They eventually moved out, but her parting shot, as she walked down the path to the van they had hired, was telling her partner "I am going to end you"....
