Looks like a 1953 Krupp compact travel sugar spoon, but that's for a different thread. Deffo a Krupp user though.
nono Look again, that has all the tell tale marks of a '54.
Easy mistake to make, since the template '54 was essentially a '53 that had been used by a Krupp post-sales support associate to punch a customer who had complained about the shoddy workmanship of Krupp's products repeatedly in the face, producing some signature tooth-shaped indentations on the flange. The Krupp management liked the concept so much they embodied in the following year's design. But I digress.

Even when pictures of women are posted on this thread, there won't be any ladies to see.

Whilst on the subject of such special occasions. Are any of you chaps planning on a visit to the annual pilgrimage ?

Last year was, after all, ‘The best year yet’…

Good point - the Telegraph article was a little light on coverage of the female attendees, but here are some enjoying the cultural highlights of the day:

The chap in the grey suit reminds of that image from twenty years ago of the girl (blue jeans, white shirt?) in the nightclub pulling a similar move.

There’s a big crowd there, some of whom likely missed seeing the earlier races. Nothing to see here, just some helpful young men showing the crowd what they missed earlier through the medium of expressive dance.

Now, where are their fragrant womenfolk?

In the background, loving the antics on show judging by their facial expressions.

In fact this is one of the funniest threads for a while. There will be many Guardian readers missing out.

Never been to Aintree, have you? There’s Diddymen and some other type of species. That’s it.

fking fail.

I guess everyone's too scared to post any ladies for fear of the ban hammer.

Probably not without reason.

Shame.

Third from the left cool

I assume they're deliberately using a lens that makes everyone look shorter and fatter, atleast I hope that's the case.
