fking fail.

I guess everyone's too scared to post any ladies for fear of the ban hammer.

Probably not without reason.

Shame.
Yes. Long gone are the days of the threads when someone... you know... calls it.

I was in London last week. It almost felt like that tine..

I assume they're deliberately using a lens that makes everyone look shorter and fatter, atleast I hope that's the case.
They look short because they're sitting down

That particular image was the best of the bunch. Micheal Owen looked like he's lost about 4 inches.

The guy second left is clutching a small revolver. Scousers always take it too far.
It’s quite clearly a phone

I know nothing about armed police and the guns they are issued with, but on several occasions when I've seen them, they tend to have what I'd describe as small sub-machine guns.

This guy at Aintree (image from the DM link posted earlier) seems to be carrying something that could take out an elephant at 1000 yards.

Any knowledgable PHers who could shed light on what it is, and maybe why they'd be wandering round Aintree with it?

Seriously? I was positive it was a real firearm.

I'd assume some have been issued rifles rather than sub machine guns as it's a massive open space and if Terry the Terrorist started something on the far side of the race course the rifles can still shoot them despite being hundreds of yards away.

Granted it looks like one from a glance but if you look at it properly it’s his phone. They were also arrested for fighting, sure there would be a comment in the press saying one had a firearm if that was the case.

That seems really odd to deploy a 7.62mm gun with a bipod unless they've had some sort of intelligence come through about some really bad trouble brewing nearby.
