I can NEVER, ever, remember how to spell Tuesday properly. I have to check it every time - E or U first

Also Imminent, as in about to happen. Never get it right

It's "restaurant" for me. Even now just typing it, I got the usual spell check wavey line. I'm nearly 50 ffs.

For frequently used words with awkward spellings I make up memory aids. Wed-nez-day. Tew-ez-day.

Try it. It's bee-ah-you-ti-ful

I've been riding motorcycles for nearly 45 years but I can't pull a Wheely.

Inadvertently yes, when going too fast, but that gentle just smoothly riding and just like that pop one. No high revs, just as if you are defying gravity.

Lads doing it on bicycles down the high street, keeping on one wheel for 100 yards or more whilst dodging angry motorists, pedestrians and buses, pee me off! Partly because I'm a little bit jealous smile

My brain sees it as resturant, that looks right to me. Its one of those words that I know im spelling it wrong and will check, but once I check, why can't i spell it correct next time I write it?

I cant spell premises. It's like a mental block. Mind you I used to have the same issue with gauge but I got that one beat!

Similarly,

Open a tin of fish without getting oily fish-juice all over my clothes, or cutting myself. Or both.

I’m exactly the same , it’s clearly written all over my face what my thoughts of people are. It’s impossible for me to hide.

Same here, apart from once when I had a fairly large lady on the back of my ZX9R. Front wheel came up over a gentle bridge and I carried the wheelie for about 600 yards, including going up the gearbox. Always had sports bikes but never managed it again.
Apparently, there are 2 types of motorcyclists, those who can do wheelies and those who wish they could do wheelies.

Latter category here.

Never been able to do it on a mountain bike either, fall off the back or not enough height.

I can’t wheelie either. I’m not jealous. Not at all.

I can’t whistle, either the “Oi Oi” whistle with fingers in mouth or to a tune.

To the people who said they can’t clap in time, as long as you’re not clapping on 1 and 3 you’re ok!

By the end of even the shortest forecast on radio I've failed to maintain attention.

Why is it that a proprietor of a restaurant is a 'restaurateur' not 'restauranteur' ?

I don't know, but he introduced us to Limoncello on the house because he was a prisoner of war in England and had a better time here than he would have had in Italy. This was a good few years ago.

Sorry, what was the question?

I'm often amazed (dismayed?) at the number of people I encounter who struggle with left and right. I'm not talking loads of people but enough to register it being something more widespread than I think is obvious.

Sleep on time or be on time for anything. No amount of staying up or organising then winding down gets me to sleep. I have to be shattered to sleep. And once I'm asleep, I'm such a deep sleeper (and partially deaf to boot - what alarm clock?) that I have to have someone shake me to get me to arrive back into the world of the living. If not, I stay asleep till stupid hours.

Being on time for most things is an event for me in itself.
