Ah, but he was full of Brandy and rather combustible at the time.

I'll call your left play and see you.

LHR on a Wednesday night! Are you stark staring mad? Even Stovold himself never attempted that after old Thrumbleton-Bunce disintegrated himself and a chunk of the playing arena at Cockfosters while trying something similar.

I'm going to have to compromise my own position now by playing Woodside Park for all our sakes.
Good man, taking one for the team....

Before Turn 7 can offer a move, I invoke the York Minster Tangent. With the implied randomness that now allows stations beginning with a vowel for the next 5 moves on pain of nibbling.

That's fair enough but, and I'm probably getting a bit ahead of myself here, when the Elizabeth line opens that would clearly jump you across to Upney in the east whilst forfeiting any hope of you throwing a "quantum leap" (which would of course be invalid anyway) to Iver in the west.
No? Maybe... anyone else confused the "Liz Line" addendum?

Is it too early in the season to play the Paddington Broad Gauge Anomaly?

I'm prepared to wait for an adjudication.

Aha! I now see your thinking......

Hmmm... I suggest that we bring the 73rd Regulation of South Armagh, skip the 16 edition, and allow all Barreltopian moves to become legal.

And with that in mind....

Marylebone.
Don't think you can just come strolling through my parish without my permission for that move!

Acton Town.
The fact is we've all been waiting for an adjudication on this since the Aberystwyth Open in '75 when Spaski attempted it and Hildebrand requested a steward's inquiry.

Onward to Highgate Cemetery via Regent Street invoking the seldom used 1946 Shillington sidestep.

Sorry, but we're in a leap year - the sidestep is banned under the 1973 Yom Kippur amendments (following the unsuccessful Tel Aviv tournament).

Please place yourself in Nidd until the 29th.

Anyway, as we appear to be playing again, and taking advantage of the 13-month reset, I'll play north of the diagonal and use the Dollis Hill Loop to call Neasden.

nono

The Bayreuth agreement in 1975 permits the Poulenc Principle of steps immediately after a leap.

It allows (and, indeed, supports) smooth transitions that are legal, agreeable, and diagonally avoidable (the dangers of which for the latter were more recently demonstrated in a J.K. Rowling novel).

Anyway.

Pimlico, thanks to the Poulenc Principle Half Step

I cannot believe you ignored the obvious, thus I will go with the classic recursive Earls Court platform 3 via the blue left hander.

Worth pointing out that you are allowed to take a pink one under these extant conditions.

Not valid unless you enter Plaistow with intent to travel via Canning Town.
