From Bank? Have we enabled Hammelins 9th amendment?

Assuming we have. Bank again wink

Hammelins 9th Corrected Amendment

Have you forgotten the hooha?

Typographical errors in rule books and elsewhere are a subject all their own.

You can't make an X-rated move* at 9.30am. 9.30am in the morning, no-less! The 1974 Heffner white-paper (ratified 1979 and 1992) confirmed that.

Good lord, amateurs everywhere...

* Or indeed movie...although I'm intrigued as to what they'd do with the marmelade...

Tooting Bec
Are you forgetting that Tooting Bec has a Lido? That doubles its score during British Summer Time and means you're flirting dangerously with going out of bounds.

Still, we've moved on now but just a friendly reminder for the future!

Talking of amateurs - You didn't make a move! That's a breach of Sect 1 Para 2 because we are not playing the Apostle Variation.

Thankyou good sir, I did indeed forget and shall be more circumspect in future plays

Ah, the wooded hill defence employed by Macduff, that tempts me to try...

but no

Dagenham Heathway with a doubleword score.

Those landmines that Macduff left on some of the double word score squares - are they all accounted for?

I shall play Cholmondeleys third variation of 1975 today on that basis of nothing more than the simple fact that it's raining and, more importantly, I feel like being slightly adventurous.

Rayners Lane.

Wasn't it you being slightly adventurous at Rayners Lane in '76, when London Underground had to shut off the power to the Metropolitan Line for five hours until the search party found you?

Definitely not. I was 5 years old in 1976, and nowhere near Rayners Lane. In fact, I wouldn't have know that Rayners Lane existed in '76! So I deny all knowledge of any incidents involving a set of heavy duty mole grips and a third rail.

To support my denial: Nine Elms.

I fear that the renaming of Overground lines could require a rule change, if one takes the absolute interpretation of the Jubilee Revision of '99 over the spirit of the original Coal Hoppers and Drivers Union Directive.

Perhaps controversial, but after consulting both documents I believe Whitechapel is a valid entry under both interpretations.

Hmm hadn't thought of that, also with the Elizabeth line we have the same issue.........I'm just waiting for someone to say Slough so we can laugh at them for citing a place that everyone wants to leave.

Any rule changes will still have to go through the 60 month cooling off period, (implemented after the Blake Hill fiasco in 1981) so plenty of time to build a suitable strategy.

Speaking of suitable: a damp above entrace into Sloane Sqaure, setting me up nicely for onward victory.

Well, a damp entrance at Sloane Square may be the inspiration I need on a Wet Wednesday.

I shall proceed directly to Notting Hill Gate.

Hmm, that’s a bit cringe-tastic; if you haven’t spotted the rather deft feint and subsequent double-bluff, then we’re not going to explain it for yourotate!
