I must add at this juncture that although 'legal some of the moves being played here are clearly in violation of the semi-unwritten rule:

"Marhampmans Undercarridge Conundrum"

If this is the level that is being attained here then I must insist we organise a left-handed man-handle polishing team at the earliest opportunity..?

You'd have to move from waterloo to westminster to do that

Please do not misunderstand me, I am certainly not calling for another Ted-ington enquiry; such a move would indeed be an interesting tactical play for someone cornered out in Zone 4 west, but in reality is poor gamemanship. No I was merely expressing surprise. Padlock Keys (should I have spelt that Quays for the traditionalists) and indeed the entire DLR had so far been under-utilised and I would have thought they may have come into play by now.

With fresh heads, might I suggest a morning session of "double jinx" play (Berre/Handiman ruling 1988 of course) to sort the men from the boys. Fate favours the brave.

Embankment? Are you sure? Morton's Rule is in play, you get no benefit from Restricted Opening and gorvid's holding Finsbury Park and Westminster. I'm not sure you have enough Freems to take Embankment, unless you were to Triangulate with two other stations (Zones 1/2 only).

I'm invoking the Heathrow 123 Opening in the hope that I can squeeze a Gatwick Express Gambit into the mix at a later stage (last seen played by Baron Von Humpmi in 1922, just before the catastrophic incident with the lampstand).

Which renders my Gatwick Express Gambit pretty much useless. Now I feel a prize twit...

I drop Finsbury Park and Westminster in favour of a full Northern tabernacle.

Mortons rule not withstanding I move for a High Barnet to Morden overflux...

Remember:

"all tabernacle movements must be declared PRIOR to any overflux procedure when under Mortons rule"

Can I somewhat belatedly point out that after the infamous chestnut stuffing incident of yesterday there was absolutely NO seepage.

But I think you'll find Mortons is indeed valid as it was explicitly drafted to cover half days on Wednesdays. I think you need to revise your Torvids.

I'm still sideshuffled at Holborn but on a half Wednesday I believe I can call subsistence without Mortons?

That being true, Embankment, Central Line onto the escalator for a flying Tedsworth roll.

I can't believe you all have overlooked the fact that Fermat's Last Theorem was solved in the previous decade, and therefore all rules are to be played under the 'solitaire' system until 2010.

As we're outside waxing gibbous, the only selenic Quiz Zone, it's plain to see this calls for a Stovold Original (Rushton Override) and the inevitable lob to Borough. Squared.

Nice spot, has it really taken since Tuesday to find that move?

In that case I'll use a parallel phalanx defence. Squared. Oh yes, Red Dwarfing on the picadilly line on a Sunday, it's bordering on the illegal.

I second this move and add a Pigment Topper Caveat......ie: following BliarOut as f ar as Picadilly but making Green Park a temporary stop...

Fool - don`t you realise it`s Sunday? (and the last of the month at that), so the inverted multiplex can be brought into play.

Incidently, Pigment Topper was ruled invalid in June 2005 following the unfortunate incident involving the frenchman.

If you go for the undulating sphincter gambit, you could be at Green Park within three moves.
