Oops. Now you've quoted chap-ter and verse, with the Victoria line blind, that means Morton's Convention must be in play after all. I doff my chap-eau in a Sherlock manoeuvre (permitted after 5pm on a sidestep) - Finsbury Park. A little defensive, but you leave me no choice, chaps
Sorry gorvid, I saw this after my last post.
Of course, with Morton's in play, if deerstalker-based doffage is also in play, a negative Freem count is required to undo the negatory on the atak.
Apologies for any convenience etc etc. Caro, please re-seat deerstalker and light Sherlock-esque pipe (it's now after 6pm and the side step has turned into a jaunty skip).

After six - right, time for a snifter at the club. According to Watson's 3rd codicil of 1987, that's St James' Park. See you tomorrow! (Puffs contentedly on a fresh fill of St Bruno's Flake)

Killer move old chap (doffs cap to Legend of the Foxbrough Dozen). The only thing I can do to counter is to Drub at Westbourne Park, sending Gorvid to the Peter Bloodcock's School of Elocution (a la Cardinal Wolsey, c. 1811), in an attempt to free up the Heathrow 123 Opening for myself when play resumes tomorrow.

If no-one responds in the alloted manner I will take the Mornington Crown
I believe that invoking the Elocution Protocol (see above) negates any Crownage* my man...
Elecution Protocol passed down directly from Henry IX in 1822 and ratified by the Council of Ministerial Bodies two years previous
Hmmm... the Foxbrough Dozen, often mentioned but most masters don't play this move as it has been proven to cause seepage as explained in Annex 4.7 of the Stovold's defense to a late departure.
Under such circumstances I believe that a late start in Holborn (declared earlier) allows me to claim a double seated hop to Mile End?

Have to say I am amazed no one has managed to aquisition Padlock Keys yet, surely it's only short trip.
Now if there's a drub in play I believe I can play a double Rickenbacker at Holborn, and to add a PH twist, I'll nip overland and tunnel run towards Russell Square. I think that leaves the game needing a decat from someone brave enough to play it. Hoogenswatch

Now you're just being silly..... Russel Square... I don't think so. Everyone knows that t ocall Russel Square from Holborn after a seepage leaves no option but to invoke a Baker Street bypass via a tardission reverse leaving us firmly seated in Waterloo
I would politely request if you are confused playing at this level you ought perhaps study a little harder?

Now I don't wish to sound impertinent, but surely the PH ammendment post dates the seepage/tardisson reverse and is therefore still eligible? I'm calling an outage (Quite legitimate as ruled in Kaspersky versus Gagarin, 1977 masters final) for an adjudication on this matter of etiquette before play resumes
I must add at this juncture that although 'legal some of the moves being played here are clearly in violation of the semi-unwritten rule:
"Marhampmans Undercarridge Conundrum"
If this is the level that is being attained here then I must insist we organise a left-handed man-handle polishing team at the earliest opportunity..?

Well that's fine, but you've left it wide open for our men in Waterloo to invoke a tactical Tolkien Shunt, effecilvely leaving Russell Square completely destabilised (again).
I have no option but to use my newly-acquired Scrodging Stick in order to close my earlier Herriot Gambit.
