They were rushing to the scene of some 'Google Translate' Welsh.

Nah, that's the new Emergbulance, the one that creeps up and surprises you, like getting a ram's horns up your arse as you tie your shoe laces .

'Move your van' note left on ambulance in Tunstall
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-stoke-staffor...

BBC said:
Ch Insp John Owen tweeted: "Officers are in the process of speaking to our @OFFICIALWMAS colleagues to obtain the full details from the crews at the scene." The note concluded with the words "now move your van from outside my house".

One Twitter user replied: "They probably had to write 'van' because they were unable to spell ambulance.

Yes in scunthorpe, there's a good chance it was built there.

As for welsh, that's not hard, google is there to hold your hand.
On the M180 heading west near Scun thorpe, there is a gigantic area full of white vans etc. It is light van central. Probably came from there originally, on it's way to Wales.

Can you help me, Saint Barbara? I'm trying to find a public phone box but I'm struggling with the signage.

Should that not be Daifibrillator?

I think SB has the message now.... come on back, just some harmless ribbing. Isn't it.
Whoever thought of that? Brilliant use for public phone boxes provided nobody pees on it...

Yes, but where is detelephone now?

Is it a working unit anyway? Notices stuck on bits of equipment are usually bearers of bad news.

I call bks on this. You'd be hard pressed to find anyone in Newport who speaks Welsh, let alone in the wider south-east Wales region. It's one of those irritating hokey feel good tales that periodically do the rounds on social meeja.
