I've just shown my friend this thread in the pub, after she questioned why the Queen was on Canadian bank notes...

Showed her the picture in the OP, hoping she'd realise there were people in the world dumber than her.

I asked her where she thought the AMBIWLANS was from.

"West Lancashire?"

We had been talking about money/bank notes etc, and I'd said that the Canadian $50 note had a strip of clear plastic in it, but I wasn't sure if the other notes were plastic like the Aussie ones. I still have a few Canadian notes in my wallet so I got one out to check. It had a picture of the Queen on it, and my friend asked "Why's our Queen on Canadian money."

I told her it was the same reason the Queen was on Aussie stuff... To which she replied "Is she the Queen of Australia too?"

It was at this point I showed her this thread, never realising she'd come out with the absolute gem she did! Her "logic" was that it had "AMBULANCE" on the side, and she read "AMBIWLANS" as Ambulance West LANCashire. Somehow.
