Thanks Beefmeister, appreciate it! It's been a long process. Will, hopefully, have some more to add soonish. Planning on starting my back, or possibly a full leg...
Yeah, I've been training pretty hard, and put some decent size on! And the beard is pretty Zeus-like these days
The Mohican has made a little comeback lately too
Beefy's just jealous cause he's a bald Yeah, I've been training pretty hard, and put some decent size on! And the beard is pretty Zeus-like these days

Sutton road.
True - I've never posted in this thread but truth be told - other than my arms, there isn't a lot of clean skin.
My right leg is going to be insect and trash polka esque but he can turn his hand to anything. I've never seen him use artwork that wasn't his own
Happy to organise a chat.

Yes, I can finally answer after having been interested in getting one for about 20 years. I've known for a while what I wanted and decided that I would get it done this year.
I'd sent an email to get a consultation at a shop to discuss my design but never heard back from them. Work got in the way and I never managed to just visit them. In the meantime, I stumbled upon an image on Instagram and decided straight away, that he was the person that would do the work and contacted another shop.
It's getting done at the only tattoo shop in London that I've ever been to, Into You. James Lovegrove is the artist. It's a work in progress, I've had 4 hours work, another 16-20 to go. A nice little first tattoo! It's still in the healing process, and not the best angle, but you get the idea!
I love it, another session booked for a few weeks time. I should have got it done years ago.
ps : Excuse the hairy nipple.
That is some bold linework! Looking at his other work that is going to turn out spot on.I'd sent an email to get a consultation at a shop to discuss my design but never heard back from them. I had to miss my last appointment so progression has been slower that I would have liked it...but still happy. Just popped by today and now have 3 appointments over the next 2 months. As they're closing at the end of October, I may have it finished at another studio. Mine got started at Into You also but then got finished at Goodtimes Tattoo.
Since the photo above, I've had another 7 hours, though I still have about the same again plus to go..
Booked consultation for the first of October with Clara Sinclair at Jolie Rouge after loving her work on Instagram. I've got a couple of small tattoos, but I want this one to be amazing - I want a shoulder/chest/third-of-sleeve piece based on the poem Ithaka The Canon by Cavafy.
Very excited but also quite nervous, I'm not necessarily the "tattoos type" (outwardly) but I've wanted this for so long and having turned thirty this year have decided it's now or never.

Me & my lady are getting wed shortly and are having wedding rings tattooed so it can be more than just a piece of metal, or we'd like it to show something of what we mean to each other, 3D gears and chain that appear beneath out skin.
Neither of us have tattoos so completely in the dark and understand from a few that 3D stuff is pretty tough to do properly, any suggestions? We're going to fly to uk to get them done so anywhere in the country is fine

Are you saying the small detail is not possible? Or that it'd be difficult to see for onlookers?
I'm quite happy for it to be a larger area than a band would occupy, that hole section of the finger trailing into the back of the hand is fine, hoping to get something done that becomes more when our hands are joined so looking incommplete on its own is fine, sort of means more in fact..
