That is some bold linework! Looking at his other work that is going to turn out spot on.
Mine got started at Into You also but then got finished at Goodtimes Tattoo.
I had to miss my last appointment so progression has been slower that I would have liked it...but still happy. Just popped by today and now have 3 appointments over the next 2 months. As they're closing at the end of October, I may have it finished at another studio. Mine got started at Into You also but then got finished at Goodtimes Tattoo.
Since the photo above, I've had another 7 hours, though I still have about the same again plus to go..
Booked consultation for the first of October with Clara Sinclair at Jolie Rouge after loving her work on Instagram. I've got a couple of small tattoos, but I want this one to be amazing - I want a shoulder/chest/third-of-sleeve piece based on the poem Ithaka The Canon by Cavafy.
Very excited but also quite nervous, I'm not necessarily the "tattoos type" (outwardly) but I've wanted this for so long and having turned thirty this year have decided it's now or never.

Me & my lady are getting wed shortly and are having wedding rings tattooed so it can be more than just a piece of metal, or we'd like it to show something of what we mean to each other, 3D gears and chain that appear beneath out skin.
Neither of us have tattoos so completely in the dark and understand from a few that 3D stuff is pretty tough to do properly, any suggestions? We're going to fly to uk to get them done so anywhere in the country is fine

Are you saying the small detail is not possible? Or that it'd be difficult to see for onlookers?
I'm quite happy for it to be a larger area than a band would occupy, that hole section of the finger trailing into the back of the hand is fine, hoping to get something done that becomes more when our hands are joined so looking incommplete on its own is fine, sort of means more in fact..

Pvapour - the trouble with fingers and hands is they're constantly exposed to the elements (how much time does your other half spend at re kitchen sink for example? ), sunlight, being washed, stretched etc this will wear the ink out, it'll fade fast more so over knuckles and joints.
Also if you've been together 30 years? Your skin might not be as smooth as it once was, not meaning to sound rude! But this will also have an effect
A decent, honest tattooist will tell you what's best. But bare in mind there are also those that will tell you it'll be fine because they want the business.
Good luck and congratulations.
