ETA I'm not averse to a tattoo and I suspect at some point I'll have one, but really? On the face? I wouldn't have anything visible, i.e. above collar line, or on my hands.

Having won a free 3hrs at Kamils studio.. i've just emailed them to book in with Ryan Evans for my next one. Absolutely loving his black and grey work at the moment but not sure how it'll fit in with my mega colourful shoulder so need to have a proper think once i've been up to see him to run through some ideas. He posted this pic earlier in the week
How long do tattoos last? And when I say last, I mean last looking how they looked in the first year. Someone asked earlier but I don't think it was answered (they referred to intricate tattoos on young, fairly toned people).
When you see older people (with old tattoos), the tattoos seem to always look blue and blurry, is this still the case with modern inks and techniques?

Mines are over 20 years old, couple of small ones on my back outline faded a bit and the colours nearly gone in places. When you see older people (with old tattoos), the tattoos seem to always look blue and blurry, is this still the case with modern inks and techniques?

They do fade over time but if mine go then ill just go back to get them redone.I think this is fantastic, some great original artwork!
