i have to ask, what is the point of a tattoo if you can't even see it?
Do you fail to get your hair cut for the same reason?
No,cos it grows there naturally! What a daft analogy ...
Whether you're adding ink or subtracting hair, its still a modification so the analogy still stands.

What was the inspiration around having an engine breaking through from under your skin?

Is it saying that you are a robot or mechanically powered person?

It was enough pain the way it was smile That was the whole idea to have a V8 as a heart, I'm also getting other side of chest done soon.
It's my Corvette's engine which I'm planning to keep forever so special to me. wink

Yes I have quite a few, and in the process of having a sleeve done. I wish I thought more about them rather than just walk into the shop, look in the book and choose one. I had my first tattoo when I was 17 because I wanted to know what it felt like. Terrible decision I know. But I love art, and choose to have them as they reflect my personality. I do get a lot of critisism especially at work and mainly because I'm female. smile

For me, I think the person being tattood being a female really multiplies the effects of it.

A brilliant sleeve tattoo on a female looks amazing I think.

An "I love my mum" tattoo or a Tazmanian devil or something just looks fking awful, a lot moreso than being done on a male laugh

Are the books any good? Not sure whether I want to start reading another of the Black Library series' after a couple of others have taken a lot of my money!

I have Lillies, roses,a skull and an anchor. All those are significant. And I have a few random ones dotted about. Like I said, wish I thought more about the sleeve. Colours don't really go, and the skull is terrible. Need to be fixed biggrin

351 is a Cleveland Ford lump, unlikely in a Corvette and the dizzy is in the wrong place.

By chance I have ended up with a session there, so will be the first convention for me smile

I fancied it this year as one of my son's good friends modelled last year.

Here's her short video to give you an idea, it looked good http://youtu.be/7QQAgXpM1GA

Are those roses a cover up of something else?

I like it. Love that the colours are different too. A sleeve all one colour can be often bland in my opinion. Little tweaking of the skull maybe but it's lovely.

No, no cover up. My tattooist designed it for me.
Thank you Gretchen smile they all need a bit of a tweak. The skull would of been better bigger and without the hearts. I have a skull fetish at home....

Ah okay, just with one huge block of colour and a bunch of space around it it kinda looks like the tattooist has been forced to go over something else? Maybe its just me laugh
