I like that one.
Cheers for the comments, I kinda agree about the thumb diamond, it was done as a sort of 'meh...' moment. I might get it blacked out.
I work in highways design for a company on behalf of Highways England. So it's predominantly a shirt & tie office job. I was originally in a 3-man team and we spent at least half the week out on site or driving, so they were never an issue, but we transferred contracts via TUPE last year and now my role is 95% office.
So it's still not an issue and I've never been asked to cover any up, even with my ear lobe (26mm) I've never had any negative comments, just curiosity. Might be a different story if I had to interview for this role rather than transferring under contract law, but I'm not really 'high up' enough for it to be an issue, I still wear black pumps, jeans and the company polo around the office, even to meetings with suppliers / contractors who've never minded, so I guess I'm lucky in that respect.
Hey mate, I'm looking for a place that could do me an awesome Japanese style [maybe a dragon] sleeve and noticed you've had work at Modern Body Art in Birmingham - do you still rate them?Cheers for the comments, I kinda agree about the thumb diamond, it was done as a sort of 'meh...' moment. Hi, yeah I still rate MBA, it's a great studio. Matt - who did my Japanese sleeve - no longer does Japanese style though as far as I know, he's switched to a more modern abstract style. Riccardo - who did my plague doctor and knee - does a variety of styles including Japanese and some of his recent sleeves and large pieces look superb so I'd definitely recommend him.
Another place to look is Gung Ho! in Birmingham. Never been myself but Rich Pearson is top notch at proper traditional Japanese work:

Purely in the interests of a before and after comparison, do you happen to have a photo of her arse please?
