Do you have a tattoo?
Discussion
24 years ago I went to get a tattoo, and bottled it at the last moment - I couldn't convince myself on the design I wanted, size and location.
Nearly quarter of a century later I've got a consultation booked for the end of the month, with the work starting, hopefully, end of September at Redemption in Sheffield - https://www.facebook.com/redemptiontattoostudio/ - Although I've also been trying to get some time for a guy in Blackpool, but his availability and my distance is making things difficult - http://www.inkdentattoo.co.uk/index.php/portfolio-...
I'm looking at a hyper real bio-mech design for by shoulder and upper arm - it will be personal to me, and represent a lot of what makes me, me. I've been into mountain bikes, cars and geeky stuff since a kid, and now that I have a number of metal plates in my body, the "semi-cyborg" theme is appropriate and meaningful to me.
I have a load of images from Pinterest and Instagram to use for source ideas, and it is a case now of the artists working them together and into a placement that works with my body shape.
I don't plan to get anything else afterwards, but the Chicano style is something that I really admire, although the I'm not sure the origins and a connotations of the work really suits me.

I had a 3/4 sleeve done last year....and then 2 months later had it extended to a full sleeve. I need to get my other arm done.

Is that all new, or an effort to cover up a misjudged cock tat?
Do you really care? I think the Koi looks very good! Line work must have been tough to sit through. Look forward to seeing it in colour.

That made me laugh far too much , but will probably look better when the colours are on .It was suggested that we add fog detail to incorporate it in but we both agreed it wouldn't work so with subtle overlapping with leaves on the underside and when the colour gets applied it will look (hopefully) like a single piece....albeit with two styles.
Now this is a cool set of tattoos. http://www.bbc.com/news/av/uk-england-birmingham-4...
