Do you have a tattoo?
Discussion
I have a day session booked for 9th November, other than just Google has anyone got a decent source for skulls? It'll be a half chest piece of a skull(no bottom jaw) and flowers in colour. Not looking to copy but a few ideas would be good as it's come round way quicker than I expected.
Are you looking for anatomically accurate or a cool style?
I'm a big fan of this guy's style

Tattoo design etiquette question.
It's been a long time since I had a tattoo and they were only very simple things that I'd drawn up myself and asked if they could do that and they did so I'm not exactly sure on what the done thing is with bespoke designs.
Anyway, my Mrs has gone off today to get a new tattoo of a couple of things that are quite significant to her all interwoven into a design, she's had the appointment booked for months and had told the artist what she was after. As of last Saturday she'd never actually met the artist but after I'd asked her if she's seen any outline designs from the artist she called them and popped in for a 20-minute consultation to run through things.
She's turned up this morning still having seen no initial designs and has called me to say that the artist had forgotten about a couple of the design details that she wanted. They tried to work on the design but couldn't come up with anything so they have cracked on without it.
I was a bit surprised by that which she picked up on whilst on the phone and I am now in the dog house for not being excited about it all, and I was apparently quite blunt when I said it was a shame the artist has missed out on some of the things she wanted.
I'm used to being in the dog house so I'm not bothered about that but is this normal behaviour from an artist to not give any initial designs before the actual time of the tattoo?
I mainly because I would quite like something fairly large themed around the film back to the future on one of my legs but I would like to know what I'm getting before I turn up so I can have a bit of a think about it and if there are any tweaks that I might like to do. I appreciate there will always be some artistic license on the day and I don't expect a fully worked up and coloured drawing but I would have thought there would be something presented beforehand?
Or am I being stupid and this is how it is?
Following up from my post on 14th October 2020, she's admitted that she hates it and wants something different now. She has an appointment with a different artist booked but doesn't know what she wants. It's been a long time since I had a tattoo and they were only very simple things that I'd drawn up myself and asked if they could do that and they did so I'm not exactly sure on what the done thing is with bespoke designs.

I've refused to provide input as I really don't know what could cover it and I don't want to be blamed with another theme that she doesn't like. Currently it looks like a massive green bruise with some daffodils in the middle.

A lad I went to college with was in Combat 13. He had something similar. Sorry What drives you to do that? Do you get a kick out of it?
Oh and it's actually Combat 18 that you're referring to so your dig didn't work anyway.
