Both windows open. Please feel free to suggest where to put the apostrophe.
"windows are down". Down is not a verb.

After the 'w' and before the 's'.

ETA - It doesn't really matter what you meant - it's how the sentence reads.

Windows was plural in the offender's sentence. He should have said "windows are down", not "window's down".

nono Unless the person "reaching in" was going to reach in more than one window - which seems unlikely - the sentence should have read:

"Hold the button until the window is down."

Sounds like more than one window opens to me.

As goldblum said, the apostrophe goes between the "w" and the "s" thus forming the grammatically correct sentence "Hold the button (singular) until the window's (singular) down

ETA

I'm sorry, I put two "untils" in the sentence ... My apologies for confusing the issue

I'm sure the missing word is go. I'd never write until until.

I'm so sorry, I've confused the issue ... I meant to write only one "until" ... original post is now corrected

I recently started a company as an electrician, as well as CCTV installer.

I have been doing surprisingly well in the domestic market, by using my local free paper etc, and have been doing well with rated people.

But i would like to start getting a bit of CCTV and PAT testing work from business's.

I am a bit lost, as to the best way of advertising to business's.

I did a trial of sending a letter for PAT testing to 30 hair dresser's, and got one job out of it.

So does anyone have any advice on marketing to business's?

Cheers

Apparently my local take-away sells Pizza's and Pasta's.

I'm a teacher and the misuse of the apostrophe is something I've tried hard to teach my kids to avoid!

What about where/were and you're/your!!!
