Sorry LBS - that does not stack - old cars are classic "period"?
The Model T Ford - the most accessible mundane fit for purpose as "transport" only (car) ever - is that not a classic? All cars become classic - the time period is key however. Ford Cortina's Mk1's are now very sought after - yet were only base transport when new...life moves on....Marina's and Allegro (though not my cuppa) are now classic's.

My house went to a bidding war an after 2 weeks we won and are very happy in it.
Likewise I put a house on the market last October and the prices started going up an so I put the price up. It sold for the new price.
It's worth what it's is worth in both instance's.

What baffles me more is when people don't even use an apostrophe consistently; why use it on 'Gala' but not 'Promotion'? What rule are they trying to follow? I just don't get it. (that is actually a real rule in Dutch, but only with foreign words, like pizza)
