No apostrophic abomination here, but seen this morning and almost as irritating. Unless they are alerting us to what has already happened.

In that case yes. It depends on the context.
The Cambridge and other dictionaries define “sixties” as a noun.

So is this story I've just seen on the BBC News website. According to the BBC, the poor lady's shop was vandalised and to add insult to injury, her window has no money. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-york-north-y...

To be fair to the BBC, they do correct the mistakes if you point it out to them.

The one in the link above has now been put right.

Ideally there shouldn't be any errors at all, but that is a large site to maintain, especially with the content being updated so regularly.

Yep, round here my unscientific observations would suggest the worst culprits for speeding are women with kids in the back of 10 year old Zafira's and Qashqai's.

You definitely allocated it in the right place, as I don’t believe it would sit well in the fast estate section next to all those high powered Audi’s, BMW’s and Mercedes.

Even if the wrong thread, I'm still engaged. "Set on fire" suggests it was done deliberately, while "caught fire" suggests it happened as a consequence of a sequence of events that may or may not have involved a deliberate action.

Alex Baldwin faces fresh manslaughter charge over 'Rust' shooting
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-6803810...

Sam Cabral of BBC News said:
An attorney representing Ms Hutchins' family said it was "looking forward to the criminal trial".

"Our clients have always sought the truth about what happened on the day that Halyna Hutchins was tragically shot and killed," Gloria Allred said in a statement.

"They continue to seek the truth in our civil lawsuit for them and they also would like there [sic] to be accountability in the criminal justice system."
Why have the BBC added [sic] to the statement? Does Sam Cabral think it should be "would like their to be accountability"? Are there no editors or proof readers any more? Not an apostrophic abomination but nowhere else to complain.
