Am I going to get flamed for saying I didn't find The Fast Show at all funny?
You don't have a sense of humour.
I do, very much so, but for some reason I just didn't 'get' The Fast Show at all. What was so good about it?
Did you see the sketch with the carrot crunchers discussing the benefits of a Mueller Fruit Corner yoghert?

And, of course the bloke who kept saying "arse". Timeless.
Like this?

I didn't laugh once. I just don't see what's so funny about it. confused

Off topic - you have and have had a magnificent range of cars!

And MOST women have no sense of humour.

Wholeheartedly agree with most of the previous nominations, but a special mention must go to Dawn French in the Vicar of fking Dibley.

plus:

Jim Davidson
Ricky Gervais
John Colshaw
Catherine Tate
Lucy Porter

More of a comedy actress but, I think Jane curtin is very good. There are a couple of others, I might remember them latter.

Little Britain gets right on my tits

Jimmy Carr - Unfunny

Alan Carr - Really unfunny with a voice that grates RIGHT on my nerves

Justin Lee Colins - Calling this bumpkin twunt a comedian really is beyond a joke

Jack Dee

Chubby Brown

Joe Pestquali

Jim Davidson

Sarah Silverman

Joe Brand
A fairly comprehensive list let down only by the fact that Ricky twuntibollix Gervaise was not included upon it
Ahh you see, Gervais doesnt get listed not because I like or tolerate him, but because he doesn't even show up in my memory!

Colshaw, good shout, as with virtually all impressionists anyone who has to introduce what they are about to mimic by saygin something along the lines of " Jimmy Saville (orwhoever) would say it like this..."

If you have to say their name then the impression is no good you grade A fkwit.

Just fking dreadful.

Indeed! There is one particular comedienne who has been on HIGNFY a few times and everytime she's opened her mouth it has been quite rightly met with dead silence, can't remember her name though.

The only female who comes even close to being funny is Victoria Wood in my opinion, though I'd say her comedy writing is much better than her stand up.

I'd ike to stand up for Ricky Gervais at this point, as every one of his stand up DVD's has had me in stitches. His explanation of Genesis in Animals is still one of the funniest sketches I have ever seen, up there with Connolly's explanation of the Crucifixtion.

The only one I can think of that If ind genuinely unfunny is Peter Kay. I dunno, maybe I was brought up to need a bit more stimulation than a northerner going "garlic bread".

Agree with you regarding Gervais. I've seen him live twice, and thought he was spectacular. Your assessment of Kay is harsh IMO.

His bit about Sunday afternoons/evenings for those people of a certain age is very very good indeed.

Bullseye (spelling for eight pounds), taping the charts etc.

On the whole I've liked pretty much everything he's done I have to say.

Andy Parsons. Everything he spouts is so cringeworthy and might raise a laugh in a playground full of 2 year olds. You know the punchline before he's even opened his mouth.
I bloody despise him. Every sentence starts with the same word. "Now........." In a voice that metaphorically brings a cheese greater, a slice of lemon and my bks to the table.
