Has Nish Kumar been mentioned yet?

Surely the unfunniest of the lot.

Let's have Russell Brand again, he must be feeling neglected...

Russell Brand.

The Ozzy with one leg. In fact, that whole 'last leg' show is bloody awful.
Pedantry alert #1: It's "Aussie".

Pedantry alert #2: He has 2 legs, but only 1 foot.
He's still not funny.

Saw him doing stand up live. He was pretty good
And he took us all Ten Pin Bowling afterwards, which was nice of him smile

Hopefully the sort of neglect where he ends up dying of starvation yes

Has Bill Bailey been mentioned? Maybe not, as i'm not sure if he is a comedian or just tries to be funny.

redcard Bill Bailey is one of my favourites- although I can't decide whether that's because I find him particularly funny or I just like him generally. The stuff he does with music is genius sometimes.

I need a stand up act identifying and don't want to make a new thread.

Its a double act, old men, west country accents. Tall posh one is the straight man, shorter funny man pulls faces when reacting.

I watched a recording of them about 15yrs ago but no idea who they are.
Anyone?

I couldn't agree more on the talent vacuum that is Sarah Millican. She spends so much time talking st on the BBC I think she must share an agent with Nigel Farage.

Whenever I've been unfortunate enough to see her on anything you can guarantee she will mention her inability to walk past a bakery before I can reach the remote control. Utter, utter, sh!te.

I was working in Brighton a few weeks ago and stumbled across the Brighton Fringe festival. Paid six quid for a ticket to a comedy gig in a room above a boozer and it was a mixed bag but one decent comic to look out for was Zahra Barri. She was trying out some new stuff which was understandably hit & miss but some of her material which will no doubt make it into the regular set was bloody hilarious.

there was another good turn on who was a vicar by day and called himself (unsure of the spelling) Ravi Holi. I'm as anti-theist as they come but this bloke had me in stitches.
As with Alexei Sayle (see above!), her act seems overly reliant on an exaggerated regional accent to make what she is saying seem amusing.
My brother-in-law bought us Millican's DVD for Christmas. I can't stand the woman and my wife hasn't got a scooby who she is.

It remains in its celophane wrapper awaiting charity-shopping/re-gifting!

No. These were old men in their late 60's early 70's.

Sarah Millican telling viewers about being in bed with her boyfriend who had gone downstairs; then telling us with a knowing look that she lived in a ground floor flat. God, that put me right off my supper.

OK I just read it that you saw them 15 years ago, not recording FROM the 60's /70's..........

I think the recording was from late 90's/early 00's but the men were in their 60's/70's at the time of filming.

Not Cannon and Ball.
The tall one was a bit like Captain Peacock but with a west country accent.
They're not big names or been on TV much as that recording was the only time I've seen them.

This, eleventy billion times over.

How does he keep getting the Mock The Week gig?! I loathe his over the top laughing at his own jokes and that smug little face and the incredibly annoying voice.

Another vote for Millican here. That high pitched speech impediment delivery of utter gash makes me want to throw something very heavy at the television.

Her, for instance.
